Main Street Mercantile will be having a huge grand opening with the theme of "support local"
May 11th is their ribbon cutting at 3:00 pm there will be cake for everyone, and the local newspaper will be there.
Friday, May 12th the husbands will be hosting a community cookout and all proceeds from the cookout will be donated to the Adams Humane Society. The owners are working with the Humane Society to bring some animals down and host an adoption event.

Friday, May 12th they will be hosting a nonperishable food drive inside, which is what we are putting the local basket for. For every good item donated, they get to be entered into the drawing. The grand prize is a 2-night stay at Waters Edge Resort.

Then on Saturday, May 13th, they will have 4 food vendors/trucks in the shop parking lot, Pig Pen, Jose's, Just 1 More Scoop, and Dell Prairie Kettle Corn along with Cypress Greenhouse will be set up selling flowers since it's Mothers day weekend.
