The A-F Middle School 5th graders will be doing a Live Art Museum, with two opportunities to display their work. The first exhibit will be at A-F Middle School on April 24th at 1:30 PM, and the second will be at the Villa Pines Senior Home on May 1st at 10:00 AM.
All students will have a special role, including crew members, art handlers, tour guides, curators, dressed as famous artists and live paintings.

“I am very proud of all their hard work and what they have learned, and I cannot wait for them to showcase their amazing creations. The purpose of our project is to give students a more hands on approach which will be more engaging that will foster a deeper understanding and retention versus just a field trip to a real museum. The project has been a way for students to understand how a museum works, how art is displayed, how art is made, learn about several kinds of art movements, about the artists and understand how to break down a painting using the elements and principles of art.
