Mateah is a 2x All-American out of North Central College. She finished sixth at 53 kg at the USA Juniors/U23 World Team Trials. Mateah is also a 2x NWCA Scholar All-American. She now coaches and trains at Askren Wrestling Academy where she is the head coach of the girls program. She has experience coaching at national level tournaments including U20 and Senior World Team Trials. She is also on the coaching staff for Team Wisconsin.
